Position: Quantity Surveyor
We would like to hire Quantity Surveyor to work with us.
Starting date will be ASAP.
**Job Description**:
- Quantity take-off and cost estimation sourcing of contractors and suppliers
- Understanding the requirements, prepare and submit tenders with specific deadline
- Contract and tender document & administration
- Collaborate with project team and tender department to ensure all drawings are in order as per design requirements.
- Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) which involves quantity take-off, measuring and estimating materials and labour costing (if applicable).
- Responsible for progress claim, VO and finalisation of accounts and sub-con progress claim
- Coordinate sub-con and workers for the renovation work to final hand over to the client
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors on costing, quotation
- Liaise and coordinate with consultant for design queries
- Liaise and coordinate with the Consultants, Clients, Sub-contractors & Workers
- To ensure project problems are well solved and rectified to meet the client's expectation
- To work independently in all aspects of sales and project management
- Able to read drawings and calculate measurements (ie. Areas, quantity required)
- Support QS and any ad-hoc jobs/duties assigned
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveyor, Project & Facilities Management or Building / Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Architecture
- Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience in building and construction industries.
- Fresh graduate is welcome to apply
- Possess strong project organizational skills, resourceful, energetic and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build long-term relationships
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge of autocad 2D & 3D skills would be an added advantage
- Fluent both in oral and written English
