Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.

To be successful as a quantity surveyor, you should have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills. Outstanding quantity surveyors are not only great at analysing costs, but they also know how to read people and tailor their negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Sourcing for sub-contractors and supplier and negotiate price with them.

- Submission of progressive claim and variation orders to the client.

- Carry out quantity take-off for tendering of projects.

- Evaluate and certify subcontractor's claim weekly.

- Assist manager/senior to prepare paper works.

- Take off quantities and prepare budgetary for project.

Requirements

- Candidates must possess at least Diploma in Quantity Surverying

- 1 year of experience in quantity surverying or fresh graduate are welcomed

- Good oral and written communication skills

- Able to work independently
