1. Technical Aspects regarding Sustainability of Aroma Ingredients (75%):

- Responsible for the identification of improvement options in Aroma Ingredients production plants and the development of carbon dioxide emission roadmaps and product carbon footprint benchmarks for aroma ingredients in close cooperation with experts in the technology team and in operations.
- Responsible for the implementation of mass balanced products at Aroma Ingredients sites in Asia Pacific.
- Support citral value chain investment projects on sustainability aspects.
- Support R&D projects on alternative non-fossil raw materials for the citral value chain in Asia Pacific.

2. EHS Contact Asia Pacific for Nutrition & Health plants regarding occupational safety (25%):

- Support EHS compliance for Nutrition & Health plants in Asia Pacific by acting as interface between Global Safety Governance and the Nutrition & Health sites/plants in Asia Pacific.
- Represent Asia Pacific and the Global Business Unit Aroma Ingredients in EHS committee of Nutrition & Health division.

**Main Tasks**:

- Liaise with colleagues in technology, operations, and R&D to identify opportunities for improving the environmental performance of Aroma Ingredients plants worldwide and develop a roadmap aligned with expected customer demand.
- Implement biomass balance and other mass balanced solutions at Aroma Ingredient sites in Asia Pacific.
- Identify sustainability opportunities and risks and propose respective actions for the Aroma Ingredients plants worldwide.
- Support R&D projects on alternative non-fossil raw materials.
- Regional EHS contact for Nutrition & Health division regarding occupational safety: Interface between Global Safety Governance and the Nutrition & Health sites/plants in Asia Pacific to ensure compliance. Represent Asia Pacific and the Global Business Unit Aroma Ingredients in EHS committee of Nutrition & Health division.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or engineering.
- At least 7 years working experience, including several years in chemical production.
- Experience in project management regarding projects in chemical operations or R&D.
- Experience in occupational safety in chemical operations.
- Experience in designing and implementing workflows and processes.
- Experience in working in an international and multicultural environment.
- Successful track record of collaborating in an international team, strong skills in virtual collaboration and connecting with co-workers over different geographies and time zones.
- General knowledge about greenhouse gas emission reduction opportunities in chemical production combined with a strong interest to drive the sustainability transformation via implementation of measures.
