Microbiologist

In this role, you will:

- Plan, prepare, coordinate and manage projects relating to detection, characterisation and mitigation of infectious disease pathogens present in environmental matrices
- Isolate and handle risk group 3 bacteria and viruses in compliance with biosafety and biosecurity policies
- Work in high containment facilities performing R&D and operational testing for pathogens
- Communicate research findings through presentation, scientific publications and reports for targeted audiences
- Engage research institutions and industries in collaborative research projects
- Partake in activities related to laboratory quality management system

**Requirements**:

- Masters in Microbiology
- Familiar with bacterial and virus culture and molecular techniques
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
