We are seeking a talented **Backend Product Engineering Tech Lead** to oversee our backend engineering efforts. The role requires strong engineering skills and care for the product to collaborate closely with the Product team while also driving significant product decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the development of core backend systems, including:
- Product Backend, Notification Server, Authentication Server.
- Smart Contract Sync: Ensuring consistency between smart contract data and our databases.
- Native wallet enhancement: Work on optimising the performance of our wallet
- Testing: Enhance quality by adding unit/regression tests
- Oversee functional projects such as:
- KYC processes for onboarding.
- Marketing and rewards build.
- Development and maintenance of internal portals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Web/Mobile engineering teams, to ensure cohesive product development and implementation.
- Strengthen GRVT’s authentication technology stack by working closely with the Head of Security to enhance security features like multi-factor authentication (MFA), WebAuthn, and secure session management.

**Must-Have Skills**
- Engineering Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams to deliver high-quality, complex systems on time
- Product Thinking: Strong product thinking with the ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers while making key product decisions
- Technical Excellence
- Expertise in backend engineering, with a focus on scalable and high-performance systems.
- Proficiency in Go, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
