**Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Loan Operations function, ensuring timely, accurate and reliable processing of loan disbursements, funding advices, rollovers and collection of principal repayments, interest and fees.
- Provide legal documentation support for the drafting and preparation of facility letters and other legal and security documents for corporate banking facilities, review draft legal documents under bilateral and syndicated credit facilities including those involving export credit agencies; to co-ordinate the review of the executed facility and security agreements with Head Office teams.
- Vet executed legal agreements and perform pre-check for satisfaction of conditions precedent and account documentation.
- Timely registration and implementation of credit limits in systems.
- Processing of loan drawdowns, rollovers and collections of principal repayments and interest payments, including the handling SWIFT Payment messages.
- Reporting of overdue collections, management reporting.
- Regulatory reports pertaining to the credit portfolio
- Maintaining of diary for covenants and collateral monitoring.
- Managing Business stakeholders’ interest related to the support function for the bank’s lending activities.
- Review of work processes in Loan Administration and to put in place processes which are robust and effective as well as taking into consideration operational risk.
- To support the Asian Branches in the role of Singapore Branch as a regional hub (functional responsibilities on Loan Administration).
- Develop the team competency and best practices for the regional teams.
- Drive process improvements, implementation of best practices for loan administration function for the regional branches, efficiency projects and cost-saving projects.
**Pre-requisites:
- **
- Knowledge in Credit and Loan Administration with minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in loan processing, handling of SWIFT Payments, implementation and control of credit limits and monitoring of collateral
- Minimum 3 years of team management experience.
- Meticulous, accurate and reliable in loan processing.
- Good communication skills, proficiency in written English is mandatory. Proficiency in Chinese language will be an added advantage.
- Ability to multi-task and handle work pressure and a strong team player.
- Enthusiasm to learn and to take on projects.
