**MD, Group O&T Cluster Head, Global Treasury, Group Risk Management and Group Functions** **-** **(**230001QL**)**

As Group Cluster Head of O&T - Global Treasury, Group Risk Management and Group Functions (GTGRM & GF), this leadership position manages an operating budget of ~S$20 million and a total headcount of close to 150 across the region. A member of GO&T Core Management Committee, the incumbent is also a trusted advisor for the Division Heads of the business segments with the following responsibilities:
**Business Management**
- Responsible for delivery of both Operations and Technology functions across the region, including Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong to support Global Treasury, Group Risk Management, Group Audit, Group Finance and Group Human Resources.
- Work closely with key stakeholders across various regions and divisions to formulate 3-5 years Business-O&T strategy roadmaps in order to support business plans.
- Accountable to Global Treasury business division in managing the smooth and cost-effective management of Treasury Operations departments (Singapore and 9 locations outside Singapore) with robust internal controls and governance, ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate and co-create business values with business division, carry out quarterly business review meetings with key stakeholders to review the financial health, solution, and project status to ensure business strategies are met.
- Accountable to Global Treasury, Group Risk Management, Group Audit, Group Finance and Group Human Resources for delivery of strategic projects and solutioning based on the agreed schedule and budget. This includes optimizing IT investment and recommending the best-fit IT solution.
- Work with all levels in the organization to understand, support and deliver IT capabilities which include:

- deep dives to define and propose solutions with established scope, high level cost and business benefit analysis.
- explore new business opportunities through technology, digital platforms, fintech eco-systems partnerships to develop solutions that meet business needs and gain competitive advantage against peer banks/ recognise as industry leader.
- Foster collaboration with business divisions to jointly develop architecture plan and drive delivery of key projects to align and create synergy across Group.
- Understand and anticipate business trends, demands, concerns and expectations, and work closely with business to develop & execute roadmaps.
- Act as the key liaison person between business and cross-functional internal teams to deliver solutions and IT capabilities according to business needs that drives revenue incremental or improving productivity, and/or solutions to meet regulatory requirements and timeline.
- Escalation points of contact to business to address challenges relating to IT and prioritize the projects delivery and systems changes by carefully evaluate the project demands and IT resource supply.
- Responsible for highlighting to business compliance and risk issues/gaps and getting support from business to address identifies issues/gaps.

**Service Management**
- Lead effort in developing automation roadmaps and drive successful completion of automation projects in alignment with business and O&T strategy and needs.
- Provide leadership in driving process efficiency and improvement initiatives in the cluster to increase operational efficiency, STP and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and formulate strategy for continuous improvement in quality, customer experience and performance standards.
- Responsible to lead and drive key stakeholders to streamline processes to improve delivery of internal and external customer service and product offerings.

**Financials**
- Plan, forecast and manage department operating budget and expenses incurred to the business.
- Drive cost management initiatives to achieve efficiency and synergy across cluster to lower operating cost to business.
- Identify and analyze cost drivers and implement solutions to lower costs.
- Develop strategies based on cost management to help businesses achieve its objectives in the most cost-efficient way possible to create strategic competitive advantage.

**Innovation & Digitalisation**
- Oversee and responsible for solutioning of the Bank’s digital projects for Global Treasury across the region.
- Reimagine the banking of the future and provide new business opportunities through technology, system and digital platforms in order to gain competitive advantage in industry.
- Instill innovation mindset through new ideas to increase efficiency/ productivity in day-to-day activities.
- Drive implementation of innovation initiatives to develop solutions that meet new and existing business requirements enabling time-to-market delivery of new ideas.

**People Management**
- Work closely with business to optimize supply of O&T resource against business demands to support solution, project delivery
