**Marketing Manager (Short-Term Contract)**

**Job Summary**:We are seeking a highly experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and contribute strategically to our growth. This is a short-term contract of 3-6 months in length, with relocation to Japan no later than September 2025. This role requires expertise in both traditional and digital marketing, a deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape, and the ability to generate C&I interest in Japanese to reach broader business objectives.


**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and support business expansion.
- Provide strategic advice on market positioning, branding, and communication strategies tailored to the renewable energy sector.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to inform marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure marketing efforts align with company-wide strategic goals, particularly in securing power purchase agreements (PPAs) and project contracts.
- Manage the marketing budget and develop financial models to evaluate the ROI of marketing campaigns.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and event-based marketing.
- Prepare reports and presentations on campaign performance, market insights, and strategic marketing plans for senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop marketing and lead generating strategies for commercial & industrial customers for the specific use case of contracting power purchase agreements.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Strategic Advisor, or in a similar leadership role within the renewable energy sector (mandatory).
- Background in research companies focused on Asian markets and economics is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence high-level decision-making.
- Advanced degree (MBA) in Marketing, Strategy, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.
- N2 qualified or higher in Japanese and prepared to conduct the interview in Japanese.
