This role leads the performance and management reporting function for (Region / Group), working closely with Regional Management and Orica Group and delivering standardised planning, analysis and performance reporting for the business. The key purpose of this role is to drive visibility of performance and to provide insights and analysis for better decision making across the business.

Reporting
- Provides Group executive and board reporting including monthly and periodic reporting packs 9.3.4
- Manages the monthly and quarterly Management Reporting Process with the provision of business review packs 9.1.4
- Ensures the provision of accurate, meaningful and timely business and regional performance information including customer & product profitability & cost reporting and functional cost reporting to enable effective business partnering 9.1.2
- Meets half yearly Corporate Reporting requirements and provides performance information
- Meets half yearly Investor relations requirements and provides performance information

Regional & Group Planning 9.1.1
- Partners with Strategy & Planning to co-ordinate the Orica mandated 5 year plan process
- Manages the Orica mandated annual budget process including preparation and analysis
- Manages the Orica mandated financial forecasting process including preparation and analysis
- Leads the regional capital management process and chairs CRC meeting (Region only), ensuring adherence to Group Standards

Executing
- Identifies and highlights key trends across the business portfolio to drive improvements in business performance and transformation programs
- Co-ordinates improvement initiatives to the Business balance sheet (capital efficiency & TWC optimisation) 9.1.4.10
- Manages the reconciliation of management reporting to financial results in core accounting systems (SAP, BI on HANA, etc.)
- Manage and executes product costing and transfer pricing processes 9.1.2, 9.3.2
- Ensures financial modelling tools are updated and accurate 9.1.4.8
- Finance reporting & analysis to Group
- Ownership of regional relationship and key contact point for OIPL and Supply Chain Optimisation (SCO) model

**Critical Experience and Qualifications**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business discipline
- Professional designation CA, CMA, or CPA
- Experience in a large, global business in a sinilar role
- People leadership experience
- 10 years post graduate experience in accounting or finance (or related discipline)
- Excellent knowledge of related standards
- SAP knowledge essential
