Provide procurement support for tenders, offers, projects, acquisition of fixed assets and overhead items
- Plan and organize procurement process with the business units to meet customer requirements and deadlines
- Prepare daily requisitions and purchase orders
- Source and evaluate vendors / subcontractors and undertake negotiations with them for better terms and conditions
- Drive vendors / subcontractors for continual improvement in their products and services
- Assist the business units to timely resolve the quality issues with suppliers / subcontractors
- Maintain and enforce the Company's purchasing policies, work instructions, ISO procedures and compliance guidelines
- Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
- Follow up with the business units and suppliers for outstanding and unfulfilled purchase orders to timely close up each purchase order
- Perform approved vendor process and maintain vendor master data
- Perform analysis of procurement data, e.g. pricing, trend, savings and purchase volume, as and when required
- Recommend new processes or systems for improvement
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Engineering
- Experience in procuring IT hardware, software, communications and electrical products and components
- Experience in project business environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics Business Center
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizing skills
