**JOB OVERVIEW**

Reporting to Managing Director, you will provide analytic and support functions. The incumbent will assist the team by providing support with reporting requirements, forecasts, and system maintenance and requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

The incumbent is also responsible for the Human Resource function of the business, which includes, but not limited to recruitment, HR administration and planning, supporting operations such as hotel pre-opening and coordinating of HR programmes.

**Finance**
- Onboard and induct hotels’ finance personnel
- Review the hotels’ management reports and ensure accuracy and on-time delivery of all reports
- Review all hotels’ P&L and suggest areas to work on cost savings
- Review regularly the balance sheets, ensure reconciliations are performed at all managed hotels
- Ensure that all hotels adhere to TLA Finance P & P and SOPs by auditing the hotels
- Develop accounting and control best practice and continually review the process and procedures to improve efficiency
- Preparation of finance training materials
- Review annual budget and capex prepared by the hotel
- Be the point of contact with Owners during hotel pre-opening prior to appointment of Finance Manager to deal with finance related issues.
- Provide support during the systems implementation and during transition to opening phase to ensure the finance function operates as per company’s requirements and standards.
- Prepare the hotel preopening budgets as required by management agreement.
- Prepare authority matrix
- Work on the tasks as per the finance pre-opening checklist
- Set up and maintain information systems (Accounting system, PMS, budgeting and reporting tool) to provide accurate, relevant and up to date information
- Create and design new reports when there are additional requirements from corporate users and rolling out to the hotels
- Assist with the effective gathering of information and analysis
- Manage internal and external systems resources for efficient and accurate data collection
- Assist with analytical projects to support group initiatives
- Authorise payments for owner-managed hotels

**Human Resources**
- Conducts recruitment to meet the staffing needs of the company, according to the company strategy and policies
- Develops and maintains the HR management system, including company policy & regulations, employee handbook, salary grade, compensation & benefits administration and performance evaluation, training and promotion system to support the achievement of the company’s objectives
- Ensures the employment of staff and the HR policies and systems in place comply with local laws and regulations
- Provides employee safety, welfare & wellness benefits, health activities and other engagement programs to motivate and retain a superior, driven workforce
- Supports employee development and coordinates well-planned orientation and training programs
- Actively contributes to a positive working environment and high performance culture
- Establishes employee engagement and offers proactive guidance, coaching and counsel to managers and employees on employee relations issues and other development feedback
- Manages external relations with key service providers and government agencies

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
**_Qualifications: _**
- Degree in Finance or Accountancy preferred

**_Experience: _**
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial capacity
- Experience with ASEAN markets will be highly advantageous
- Experience in hotel industry preferred
