DESIGNATION : Communications & Editorial Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES

**Communications & Editorial Associate**

We are looking for a highly motivated, result-driven and passionate individual to join our awesome marketing team You should be resourceful, creative, and you genuinely care about the details. Your communication and interpersonal skills are unmatched and you are confident. You are comfortable coordinating the work of external suppliers and managing internal responsibilities whilst working to tight deadlines and maintaining a flexible and proactive approach to your responsibilities, whether you are working autonomously or as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- A brand advocate for Kaplan in Singapore to consistently communicate its value proposition across all channels and touchpoints.
- Originate or adapt to write, vet and edit compelling and engaging content for different touchpoints, such as for owned media (eg. social media, website, campus environments) and earned media (eg. TV, press) to build awareness and brand affinity with our audience.
- Possess flair for creative and professional writing styles to suit different communication needs, which include advisories, notices, press releases and others.
- Provide support to internal stakeholders relating to Communication needs with alignment to the Kaplan brand and tone.
- Ensure compliance based on advice by the compliance and legal departments, including government and regulatory agencies’ guidelines or any other guidelines when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

**Job Requirements**:

- Recognized qualification in Communications, English, Journalism and/or PR
- At least 1 year In-house or agency experience in editorial capacity
- Experience in PR an added advantage
- Masterful in the English language with a creative flair
- An excellent communicator who is quick-thinking and self-motivated
- A highly meticulous and pro-active problem solver
- A team player who is well-organised and can manage time effectively
- Solid knowledge in media channels including social media, SEM
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in the Chinese language an added advantage
