The role of Deputy Editor plays a pivotal part in driving editorial excellence and strategic direction within Asia coverage. This position involves overseeing key editorial processes, mentoring senior staff, and ensuring research and reports meet high standards for accuracy, style, and production quality.

  • Participate in regular meetings with research and editorial teams across Asia, guiding research direction and overseeing report production to achieve optimal results.
  • Edit content and provide constructive feedback to maintain consistency, clarity, and high-quality output.
  • Mentor individual team members on editorial standards and professional development, nurturing a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment of research priorities.
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive market coverage strategies for private credit, high-yield, and lower-tier investment-grade markets in Asia.
Requirements

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Extensive experience in emerging market credit, investigative research, and editorial management.
  • A strong track record in managing editorial teams and maintaining high-quality research standards.
  • Excellent communication and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to mentor and develop editorial staff across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of Asia's financial and credit markets, particularly private credit and high-yield sectors.
