**What the role is**
- DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, CONTRACTS (PROCUREMENT POLICY & ANALYTICS)
**What you will be working on**
- You will be part of the Procurement Policy & Analytics team to develop predictive algorithms for decision support in the transformation of procurement processes to achieve value-for-money procurement, sustainable eco-system and drive productivity. You will be responsible to - Collect construction/ infrastructure data (eg. costing & measurement), leverage on appropriate data analytics tools to establish cost trends and draw insights to support decision making. - Design and execution of strategic procurement initiatives across LTA, including supply market analysis, strategy development and supplier negotiations through data analytics - Propose and implement agile and robust measures to address identified gaps and risks to ensure sustainability of the eco-system. - Keep abreast of the latest developments in construction laws, procurement and financial procedures to continuously review and enhance prevailing procurement processes, controls and where interventions may be required.
**What we are looking for**
- Requirements: - Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Building / Quantity Surveying or related discipline - Experience in cost estimation and contract administration in civil engineering or construction projects would be an advantage - Good team player and strong analytical, communication skills and written skills
