**Senior Technical Consultant - Networking Solutions (M/F)**

This role includes occasional travel to customer premises in Singapore.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Serve on customer core teams to aid in the customer's understanding of Itron product capabilities to support future enhancements.
- Troubleshoot networked environments at Itron and customer locations.
- Document production configurations and perform root cause analysis for significant failures in production.
- Troubleshoot issues with endpoint devices and network-related issues.
- Work with internal and external customers, vendors, and other support engineers to determine and implement adjustments to achieve optimal system performance.
- Document, report, and track problems to external vendors and internal product teams.
- Work with customer team during system upgrades in production infrastructure.

**Key experience and qualifications**
- Demonstrated experience fostering in relationships with technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.
- Fluent English skills are mandatory.
- Engineering degree (Telecommunications, Networking, Computer science).
- Good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, IPv6, routing protocols, firewall, and VPN)
- Cisco certification or Red Hat certification is a bonus.
- Experience in Virtualization and Cloud Technologies (VMware, Azure, AWS).
- Team player, problem-solver, customer-oriented, and adaptable.
- Proven ability to multi-task and participate in a hands-on manner
- Strong technical expertise and customer service skills, flexibility, and a willingness to assist and research to exceed customer needs and expectations.
- Hands-on experience with process development, documentation, and execution.
- Customer-service orientation
