**Flexilay Chief Pipelay Engineer **with global vessel experience

**Introduction to the job**

At Technip Singapore, we are looking for an experienced **Flexilay Chief Pipelay Engineer **to join our multicultural offshore workforce.
- Supervise Mobilization, Operation, Maintenance and Demobilization of Flexilay equipment (TLS, OVLS, VLS, HLS, TR Winch, Carousel) in accordance with the Asset Technical department and project objectives.
- To be the line manager the offshore technicians team and assisted by the technician supervisor allocated onboard the vessel, to ensure that the all Flexilay equipment are fully operational and efficiently maintained in accordance with Company standards and relevant legislation in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
- To undertake adequate communication in line with the Company’s requirements both onshore and offshore in an effective and timely manner.
- To ensure all relevant paperwork associated with onboard activities is completed.
- Responsible for ordering stores and spare gear to maintain sufficient onboard stock levels, to ensure that the pipelay system operational capabilities and safety are not jeopardised.
- Supervision and mentoring of pipelay technical personnel. Conduct / organise annual appraisals of pipelay technical personnel with training plans implemented for development.
- Control of vessel pipelay repair and maintenance (R&M) budget.

**You are meant for this job if you have**
- Hold a nationally approved Marine, Mechanical, Hydraulic or Electrical Qualification combined with a recognized apprenticeship.
- Expected to have held a supervisory position within the Marine/Offshore Engineering.
- Hold a nationally approved Marine, Mechanical or Electrical Qualification combined with a recognized apprenticeship.
- Global understanding of all the hydraulic/mechanical/electrical machinery and systems.
- Extensive Offshore experience on Flexilay equipment operation as supervisor position or Chief Pipelay Engineer.
- The ability to constantly achieve results within defined timeframes. The drive to do things better and complete against a standard of excellence.
- Cooperating with others, mutual support and adapting to change.
- Understands and meets the needs of customers - internal and external as appropriate.
- Continuously strives to improve the performance of self and others, and uses innovative methods to achieve this.

- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Valid Offshore Survival certificate / Valid Offshore Medical certificate (OGUK) / OPITO CA-EBS Initial Deployment Training / Bi-Deltoid Shoulder Measurement.
