**Responsibilities**:
**Intake**
- Handle day-to-day general enquiries on shelter admission and related shelter matters

**Assistance in Casework and Counselling**
- Engage clients in a professional and therapeutic manner to understand needs, and to build rapport with clients including all members of the family (especially children and vulnerable family members)
- Assist with shelter visits and support in assessment of clients
- Support in documentation and evaluation of case outcomes

**Programme Planning, Coordination and Execution**
- Identify and assess clients who may benefit from group work
- Identify and support development of new group work, evaluate and modify
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of group work periodically, including the group work and the impact on clients
- Lead or assist in the implementation of respective types of group work (lead psycho-education groups that aim to provide information and/or assist in therapeutic groups)

**Post-Discharged Support**
- Assist in assessing, developing and implementing discharge planning for clients
- Follow up with and monitor post-discharge status and/or outcomes of clients, and liaise with agency/ies on progress of clients
- Assist in liaising with community agencies, and support planning and implementation of programmes and activities
- Maintain daily records, update case files of clients and prepare reports for administrative and intervention purposes

**Other Responsibilities**

a. Represent AWWA FS for other AWWA-wide involvement.

b. Undertake other responsibilities for achieving the aims of AWWA FS as assigned by the Director.
