Job Description

The incumbent will be based in Singapore office.

He / She will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

- Develop and maintain standard project (cost) control processes and procedures.
- Develop project cash flow forecast.
- Prepare the project budget upon contract award (based on as-sold budget).
- Prepare monthly project report for project managers, reflecting the projects' current financial position and estimates at completion. This includes ensuring alignment with project schedules, committed costs and reconciliation to financial system.
- Perform scenario analysis at request to support decision making.
- Assist project managers in the validation of commercial and schedule components.
- Ensure forecast variances are communicated to the Management to enable corrective actions to be taken when and where necessary.
- Ensure project risks and opportunities are accurately reflected in the Risk & Opportunity schedule.
- Ensure all costs incurred are directly attributable to a budget item which can be done either by revising existing budget or through assignment of new cost codes to unbudgeted items during project phase.
- Follow through the process from sending clients the sales invoices and receiving of payments. Thereafter, inform project managers of any late payments.
- Provide commercial or data analysis for the preparation of tenders by working closely with the proposal managers and tender teams.
- Support the monthly project reviews.

Job requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and/or financial management.
- 5-8 years relevant experience in project (cost) control.
- Effective communicate across different function groups and with senior management.
- Proactive personality with the ability to identify risks and opportunities and provide remedial action.
- Positive approach to work.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexible to change.
- Excellent numeracy and Microsoft Excel skills.
