**Responsibilities:
1. **Cost Analysis and Reporting**:

- Analyze project budgets, manufacturing costs, and operational expenses.
- Prepare accurate and timely cost reports and financial statements.
- Monitor and compare actual costs against budgeted costs, identifying variances and trends.

2. **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide financial expertise and insights for budget development and cost projections.
- Continuously monitor and adjust budget assumptions to reflect changing business conditions.

3. **Cost Control Measures**:

- Develop and implement cost control measures and financial procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers, manufacturing teams, and department heads to ensure adherence to cost management policies.

4. **Project Cost Management**:

- Work closely with project teams to estimate, track, and control project costs.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the financial viability of projects.
- Provide financial guidance during project planning and execution to optimize cost efficiency.

5. **Financial Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal accounting principles.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits, providing necessary cost-related documentation.

6. **Process Improvement**:

- Identify areas of potential cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
- Propose and implement process enhancements to reduce costs while maintaining quality.

7. **Risk Assessment**:

- Assess financial risks related to projects and operations.
- Provide recommendations to mitigate risks and avoid cost overruns.

**Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred.
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong financial analysis and cost management skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools used for cost tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and industry-specific cost factors.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
