Salling Search is proud to partner with a leading global container liner, headquartered in Singapore, known for innovative and sustainable shipping solutions. Our client seeks a **Senior HR Manager**to drive their people strategy in a dynamic, international environment.
**Role Overview**
The Senior HR Manager (Generalist) will assist with HR initiatives for our client’s Singapore hub, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and strategic alignment with their global container shipping operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develops HR strategies for talent management, succession planning, and workforce development.
- Leads recruitment for mid to senior-level maritime and corporate roles in APAC.
- Enhances employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion through targeted initiatives.
- Manages performance reviews, training programs, and career development.
- Ensures compliance with Singapore employment laws and maritime regulations.
- Supports change management and leverages HR analytics for data-driven decisions.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; Master’s or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- 8+ years of HR Generalist experience, with 3+ years in a senior role, ideally in maritime or logistics.
- Strong expertise in talent acquisition, HRIS (e.g., Workday), and Singapore labor laws.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; fluency in English (Mandarin a plus, as the role involves communication with Chinese speaking stakeholders).
