Core Responsibilities
- Be a APAC Change Champion for the LEGO Group’s Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) drive, code named OESP (Owned-Earned-Shared-Paid).
- Stay on top of and influence OESP developments across the Marketing Value Chain through continuous engagement of and sparring with global stakeholders and regional counterparts.
- Be APAC’s expert in, and infuse the OESP ecosystem knowledge across APAC, thereby cultivating activation capabilities across the full ecosystem.
- Work cross-functionally with key APAC stakeholders to role model the orchestration and gearing of owned / earned / shared / paid (OESP) activities of the LEGO Group towards sales and brand impact.
- Champion and activate change journey towards prescribed integrated ways-of-working in APAC.
- Own and drive a comprehensive APAC editorial calendar across platforms and touchpoints for key audience segments, ensuring that the LEGO Group in APAC drives impactful and consistent narrative.
- Drive marketing effectiveness agenda through systematic and structured review of OESP channel performance.
- Provide updates to the Leadership and broader marketing community on progress of APAC’s change journey towards OESP.

APAC Regional Marketing & the eCommerce Centre of Excellence (eCOE) is responsible for growing the LEGO Brand and increasing our portfolio penetration across Asia Pacific. Our specific focus include
- 1) Building the LEGO Masterbrand and franchise brands (LEGO City, Ninjago, LEGO friends, LEGO Duplo to name a few) amongst boys, girls, parents and adults in Asia Pacific markets;
2) Recruitment of new kids and adults to play, engage and love LEGO products and the values of the LEGO Brand - creativity, imagination, learning, fun, caring and quality;
3) Partnering our 6 business units of Japan, Korea, Australia/New Zealand, South East Asia, Hong Kong/Taiwan and India to understand consumer and shoppers so that we are able to develop relevant communications and value propositions to engage kids and grow market share with the LEGO Brand and franchises.
APAC Regional Marketing & eCOE consists of Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, eCommerce, Media Management and Marketing Planning & Effectiveness teams.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or in related field, or equivalent working experience is preferred;
- 8+ years of marketing experience, preferably within brand, digital, retail and/or partner marketing;
- Experience working with other brands, either as a brand manager or in an agency capacity;
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills;
- Experience and passion for building effective multi
- OESP channel marketing campaigns;
- Familiarity with multi-touchpoint narrative development, curation and governance;
- A holistic and continuous improvement mindset;
- Ability to navigate complex organizational set-up;
- Comfortable with ambiguity;
- Comfortable with shaping and evolving own role as projects mature;
- Excellent oral and written communications skills;
- Experience in driving Agile ways of working or in driving change within an environment with test and learn approach;
- Experience in marketing capability development.
