**Assistant Contract Manager**:
**Operations Support**
Administer Contracts Management to assist the operations to:
Administer and advise on Main contract and Sub-contract related matters.
Advice & assist in resolving contractual issues with clients,
consultants, and sub-contractors.
Administer and monitor timely procurement and award of subcontracts works.
Administer and monitor prompt submission and payment of Client progress claims.
Administer and monitor prompt payment response of SubContractor Client progress claims.
Administer and monitor project cashflow.
Administer and resolve main contract and sub-contract variation orders:
**Business Development Support**
Administer Contracts Management to assist the Business
Development to:
Formulate contractual responses during tendering stage.
Attend Client tender interviews (if required)
MEETINGS
Conduct VO or dispute discussion with Client and SubContractors for assigned projects and subsequently, monitor such follow-on meetings.
Conduct Tender interview and price negotiation meeting with sub-contractors.
Conduct Final account discussion and negotiation meeting with sub-contractors.
Provide contracts updates to the Director (Projects) or Deputy
Director (Projects) as and when required.
**Project Authority**
Review and Recommend Sub-Contract Terms for assigned projects.
Recommend the dating and issuance of (joint) subcontractor warranty documents for assigned projects.
Recommend formal notifications to the Client and SubContractors for assigned projects.
Recommend Client progress claims for assigned projects.
Negotiate and recommend works order to subcontractors for assigned projects.
Negotiate and Recommend award of subcontracts for assigned projects.
Review and recommend variation advice to Clients for assigned projects.
Negotiate and recommend variation orders from subcontractors for assigned projects.
Recommend formal notifications to the Client for assigned projects.
Recommend and update project costings to Director
(Projects) or Deputy Director (Projects) or Senior Project Manager for potential project cost / claims.
**Project Responsibilities**:
Audit Sub-Contracts Documents to ensure conformance.
Assist to improve subcontractor terms and conditions and project contracts management system for the Project Management department.
Provide mentoring and guidance to project team members for contractual issues
