**_Purpose of the role _**

**_Roles & Responsibilities _**
- Negotiating and contracting of rates, special offers, allocation, release periods, overrides, terms conditions for hotels, ensuring the best available rates and availability; in both: new properties but also re-contracting existing hotels
- Identify and negotiate with key partner's preferential conditions in direct coordination with the immediate superior and promote the commercial opportunities;
- Conduct site inspections and attend trade shows to promote the company;
- To assist in requesting hotel contracts for hotels globally;
- To assist the Manager on hotel contracts negotiation and preparation;
- Handle sales request and offer support to clients who require assistance;
- To assist in uploading static rates and allotments, and revise if any update from time to time;
- To assist in requesting contracts and follow up with hotel on signed contracts;
- Prepare report for management on regular basis and when required.

**_Skills _**
- Diploma / Bachelor Degree in the hospitality and/or tourism industry;
- At least 3 years working experience in Hospitality and Travel industry in local market; Sales and account management background in OTA or Hoteliers will be an advantage.
- Strong Relationships with hotels and suppliers in the region;
- Excellent command of English
- both verbally and in writing - is essential;
- Knowledge of the functions, operation and mission of the department;
- Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak season. A “Can Do” attitude and positive thinking that includes creative thinking is an asset.
