**Engineering Inspector & RT/ DRT Level III NDT Personal Responsibilities**

1. Engineering Inspector must be a minimum of 5 years of experience in the NDT field as a certified level III in at least 4 methods (PT, MT, UT, RT) preferred as PCN and ASNT.
2. Develop radiography procedure for different techniques (DRT/ RT using Ir 92 source and X-ray)
3. To do film processing immediately after completion of the radiography work on the same day.
4. Safely perform site radiography as per safety requirements.
5. To prepare a job pack /test pack for radiography activities.
6. Perform line walk for chosen RT joints for radiography per client requirements.
7. Develops techniques and perform radiography test for a variety of parts with film RT (X-Ray and Gamma-ray) Digital Radiography (DRT), Computed Radiography (CRT), and SCAR RT.
8. Perform film interpretations as per procedures/ ASME code CR, and DR image flaw detection/interpretation.
9. RT level III certified as NEA L6 compliance, in case of emergency level III has to recover the source as per L6 requirements, it will help to avoid public radiation sources.
10. To ensure that all the radiography exposure devices are duly brought back to the storage room after use & stored safely inside the storage room.
11. Developing RT procedures and technique sheets for specified products and materials after work.
12. Monitoring compliance with this specification for the storage, transport and use of radioactive sources at all worksites through planned inspections and audit programs.
13. Setting up and calibrating NDT equipment.
14. Must have Knowledge and experience with ASME, AWS, API and ISO codes.
15. After conducting tests and throughout the manufacturing process, NDT technicians interpret and analyse test results.
16. NDT technicians develop, update, and issue documentation related to the tests they have performed.
17. Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
18. Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions.
19. Creates, sets up and instructs RT labs including, but not limited to, Dark Room protocols, organization, film processor use/maintenance, film I.D., selection, organization, and cassette loading.
20. Direct, mentor, and train personnel in the method(s) in which certified and capable of.
21. Provide direction and guidance with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the company and client.
22. Be capable of developing written work instructions from approved general procedures.
23. Responsible for all paperwork to be turned in promptly including safety forms, the company required forms, customer forms, and timesheets.
24. Must be able to work off ladders and scaffolds at construction sites and projects construction.
25. Must be able to work the night shift for radiography work due to conflict activities.
26. To make sure that all the materials such as radiation survey meters, radiation warning signboards etc are available for radiation protection before starting the exposure.

**Physical Activities and Requirements**
- Able to perform very heavy work on construction sites, especially multi-million projects.
- No fear for heights, have to climb monkey ladders ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing are required to exceed that required for ordinary locomotion.
- Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.
- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
- The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out or fatiguing.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one location to another on the site.
- Personnel ability to learn rope access level 1/2/3 for future rope access radiography

**Working Conditions**
- The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, conditions.
- Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials and working environment.
- May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces.
- The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud when working on a project site.
- Able to work more on the night shift due to avoiding conflicting activities with radiation tasks
