JR20300 Software Developer - Application Development and Support

**Operations Central Team - Application Development and Support (OCT ADS)**
Our department focuses on improving Micron's manufacturing capability by encouraging innovation, accelerating the best ideas, and keeping a focus on eliminating waste and inefficiency. We are a central organization driving improvement and excellence at Micron's global manufacturing sites. This often includes developing software that enables senior leaders and engineers to make informed decisions, and implement the best practises without error.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Work with various groups of software developers, towards project requirements and schedules
- Research and develop using modern tools and frameworks
- Develop, test, deploy and maintain framework and web user interfaces to Microns global network of manufacturing facilities.
- Develop full stack solutions using primarily Angular, C#, and SQL
- Application Performance Management
- Expand your knowledge by learning new skills and tools
- Maintain operation in optimal performance and efficiency
- Provide coaching and training to peers

**Qualifications**:

- Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and memory devices
- Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Ability to communicate effectively with global partners
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field of study
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience and 2 years in web development.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Experience developing web user interfaces with UX design
- Experience with API development
- Experience using cloud frameworks. Azure and OpenShift experience is most preferred.
- Ideal language competency is C#, SQL, NoSQL, Angular, JavaScript
- Experience in Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in Git
