**Job Title**:Senior Data Engineer

**Location**:Bangalore

**Business & Team**:CST

**Impact & contribution**:
Reduce the deployment time of model by utilising advance tools and technology. In this role you’ll assist execution of strategic initiatives to improve team effectiveness and performance.

**Reporting lines**:Reports to Senior Manager

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- ETL Development: Design, Develop and implement ETL processes using Ab Initio.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency
- Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability
- Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Technical Leadership: provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholder to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Trouble shooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to ETL processes and data integration

**Essential Skills**:

- Experience: Minimum 6-9 years of experience in ETL development, with at least 4 year Using Ab Initio
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Tech or a related field
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio, Unix/Linux, SQL and scripting languages such as shell or Perl
- Soft Skills - Strong Analytical, Problem - Solving and communication skills
- Certifications: Relevant Certifications in Ab Initio or data Integration are a plus

**Education Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
