Research Fellow

Key Responsibilities:
- Proposing and verifying novel research ideas in the area of RIS based signal enhancement.- Implementing the hardware-software system and experimenting proof-of-concept prototype.- Collaborating with Ph.D students and research assistants in the same research group for system design/implementation/evaluation.- Formatting the research design and system development to academic research papers.- Guide undergraduate students on the conduction of their course project.
Job Requirements:
- A Ph.D degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with strong interest in the related field- Familiar with the basic and advanced theory of RIS assisted signal coding/modulation/enhancement techniques- Familiar with the state-of-the-art of RIS related system design and prototype implementation.- Familiar with RIS related communication theory and control theory, e.g., multipath effect, beamforming theory, digital/analog control, etc.- Familiar with the basic theory of antenna design, e.g., frequency selection, bandwidth control, impedance control, etc.- Familiar with RIS system design and implementation.- Familiar with academic paper writing- Experience with software signal processing, software simulation and hardware implementation.- Strong interest in research and strive to publish in top venues on mobility, systems, and networking.
