Interaction Designer, Google Pay, Growth

Minimum qualifications:

- 5 years of experience in UX design.
- 3 years of experience in mobile-specific product and UI design, including apps for Android and iOS.
- Experience designing in India or emerging markets.

Preferred qualifications:

- Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma).
- Knowledge of the issues facing the mobile app ecosystem.
- Ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery.

As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

**Responsibilities**:

- Define, shape, and own the direction for growth strategies and features in partnership with Product Management, Product Marketing Management, and Engineering.
- Identify, drive, and own opportunities across Google Pay, informed by strong user and business insights and domain expertise.
- Implement and execute innovative, insightful, and practical design solutions and relationships for driving user acquisition, retention, and engagement in Google Pay.
- Embrace and advocate for Product Excellence principles: simple design, focused utility, and crafted execution.
