Singapore METROPOLITAN YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF SINGAPORE Full time

The Programmes Executive, Japanese is responsible for the planning, expansion and effective delivery of Japanese programmes including Aquatics and Sports & Recreation for the Japanese community in Singapore, in accordance with the philosophy and goals of Metropolitan YMCA.

**Responsibilities**:

- Expands and improves Japanese programme enrolment, publicity and quality.
- Develops and evaluates programmes (curriculum, etc) for smooth running and sustainability.
- Retentions of current members and growth of new membership for Japanese members.
- Maintains and improves programmes’ enrolment, publicity and quality.
- Recruits, orientates, trains, supervises, guides and evaluates vendors, instructors and volunteers for meaningful engagement.
- Develops marketing strategies together with local staff team to promote and expand programs, including new initiatives targeting Japanese families
- Updates regularly records and registration of participants, fees and payments.
- Plans and implements annual goals and budget
- Develops a network of relationship with the local Japanese community, including schools, embassy, churches and corporations
- Attends all Japanese programme related activities and meetings Prepares monthly and yearly reports with updates and evaluations of programmes.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Education
- Fluent in Japanese language
- Experience and knowledge of physical education, membership, family, youth and children programmes
- Ability to establish and build effective relationships with parents, children, volunteers and staff
- Strong team player
