Singapore ULCSG PTE. LTD. Full time

**ULC Academy is seeking passionate and experienced **Adult English Language Teachers**to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals who are confident communicators, student-focused, and enthusiastic about helping adult learners improve their English fluency and confidence — both in everyday and professional contexts.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality English lessons to adult learners of various levels, from beginner to advanced. Both **full-time**and **freelance (contract-based)**positions are available.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and conduct engaging and level-appropriate English lessons for adult learners
- Teach a range of courses including:
General English
Business English
Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English)
Conversation and Speaking Confidence
- Create lesson plans and select materials aligned with learner needs and CEFR levels
- Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate progress reports
- Contribute to curriculum improvement and in-house training when applicable
- Conduct trial lessons and placement assessments as needed

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably in English, Linguistics, Education or related fields)
- Recognised English teaching qualification (CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching adult learners (in-person or online)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Comfortable teaching both group and private lessons
- Positive, professional, and adaptable to diverse student backgrounds
- Passionate about helping students build confidence in real-world English use

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience teaching in Singapore or a multicultural environment
- Familiarity with CEFR, IELTS or other proficiency standards
- Ability to teach additional languages (e.g. Japanese, Spanish, French, Chinese) is a plus
- Available to work evenings and/or weekends

**Employment Type**:

- Full-Time
- Freelance / Part-Time (Flexible schedule available)

- Competitive rates based on experience and class type
