English Language Instructor Position

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated English language instructors to lead our adult learner programs.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging English lessons tailored to the needs of adult learners at various proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced.

The key objectives of this role include:

  • Designing and implementing effective English language instruction for adult learners
  • Teaching a range of courses, including General English, Business English, Exam Preparation, and Conversation and Speaking Confidence
  • Developing lesson plans and selecting materials that align with learner needs and CEFR levels
  • Providing constructive feedback to students and maintaining accurate progress reports
  • Contributing to curriculum development and in-house training when applicable
  • Conducting trial lessons and placement assessments as needed

To be successful in this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in English, Linguistics, Education, or related fields), a recognized English teaching qualification (CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent), and a minimum of 1 year of experience teaching adult learners (in-person or online).

Ambitious candidates who can teach additional languages (e.g., Japanese, Spanish, French, Chinese) are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching in Singapore or a multicultural environment
  • Familiarity with CEFR, IELTS, or other proficiency standards
