Singapore Google Full time

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- 5 years of experience managing projects in a data center environment.
- 5 years of experience in telecommunications, low-voltage, fiber-optics, or critical systems construction management.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Knowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems.
- knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant regulations, and quality standards.
- Knowledge of telecommunications and security technical design, construction management, processes, means and methods.
- Ability to lead internal and external cross-functional and Partner teams to develop scope, project plan, budgets, and schedules.
- Excellent requirement gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling, and goal attainment skills.

**About the job**:
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us — and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

As a part of the Data Center Services (DCS) team, the Data-Center Network Infrastructure Construction (DC-NICon), Technical Program Manager, you will work closely and support the regional DC-NICon lead.

Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide in-region technical and constructability guidance to site DCS teams and cross-functional teams for new campuses or builds or programs.
- Review project costs and metrics to ensure adherence to fleet productivity and cost norms.
- Be responsible for gathering internal requirements and delivering solutions that satisfy customers needs while concurrently partnering internal and external teams.
- Resolve critical issues within matrix organization while maintaining rigorous adherence to project timelines and costs.
- Support the APAC DC-NICon regional lead. Travel to data center sites in order to develop/maintain relationships with facility managers and operations leaders in-region as well as coordinate with external partners.

Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements. See also Google's EEO Policy and EEO is the Law. If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know by completing our Accommodations for Applicants form.
