**What the role is**
- You shall play key roles in implementing correctional counselling and/or casework interventions, work closely with fellow Captains of Lives and various internal/external stakeholders to facilitate sustained positive change in offenders.

**What you will be working on**
- As a Correctional Rehabilitation Specialist (CRS), the job responsibilities may include:

- Conduct offender assessment and formulate intervention plans.
- Plan, coordinate and delivery of direct rehabilitative interventions for offenders (group-based programmes if in incare, or counselling and casework if in the community).
- Working closely with various stakeholders to improve offenders’ social capital.
- Train and audit vendors who have been engaged to run rehabilitation services in incare or the community.
- Provide feedback on the needs of offenders and the effectiveness of correctional rehabilitation to various stakeholders.
- Engage in practice-based research and contribute to the development of policies.
- Ensure effective implementation of rehabilitation initiatives.
- Training and supporting Prisons officers in developing rehabilitation skills.
- Provide consultancy and direct support to Prison officers in their management of inmates with complex needs.
- Contributing to the development of new rehabilitation initiatives.
- As part of the Caring Action in Response to Emergencies (CARE) system, provide support to colleagues or stakeholders during critical incidents or operations.
- Administrative duties to support any of the above.
