As an IT Incident Response Engineer (Shift) at ATS, you will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for managing and responding to IT incidents round the clock. You will work closely with other operations teams, incident management teams and stakeholders to ensure the smooth resolution of incidents to minimize downtime and impact on services.
**A brief summary of your job responsibility**:
- Supervise the overall availability and health of Whole-Of-Government (WOG) infrastructure and services
- Maintain oversight of the various Whole-Of-Government (WOG) infrastructure’s and services’ events
- During high severity incidents with major disruptions to the organisation, you will act as an Incident Manager driving ICT service restoration by ensuring all relevant parties are engaged, and stakeholder communications are completed as per defined incident process schedule.
- Drive and work with various support teams (internal and external) to resolve service disruptions and restore services as rapidly as possible
- Ensure timely escalation and track incident life cycle till resolution
- Manage technical and management bridges
- Ensure appropriate and timely communications are sent to senior management to update on the incident status and impact
- Prepare executive summaries and reports on critical and high priority incidents for senior management
- Plan and coordinate Business Continuity Plan
- Act as the Point of Contact to manage GovTech products related incident, request or enquiry
- Provide technical assistance to enquiries and service requests
- Perform basic level 1 technical troubleshooting to incidents
- Proactive monitoring of GovTech products platform and responding to alerts and outages
**Requirements**:
**To succeed in this role, you will ideally have**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT incident response, security operations, or similar roles
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in incident response, incident management, and troubleshooting of IT systems and infrastructure
- ITIL v3 Foundation is a plus
- Knowledge and experience working with wide range of enterprise technologies, such as Network Infrastructure, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and SAN will be an added advantage
- Good deductive reasoning and problem-solving ability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building
- Ability to work on rotating shifts
