Process Application Engineer

2. Representing the team and interpreting the customer’s or business partner’s needs.
3. Establish design specifications and generate project technical proposals for the project management team.
4. Estimate pre-bom costing for the project management team.
5. Perform a proof-of-concept study to ensure the robustness of the original design concept and the components or equipment being selected.
6. Manage the procurement of system hardware, define project costs, and control the total spending budget for the project.
7. Manage project risks to ensure success.
8. Implement ad-hoc activities and interventions wherever gaps or issues arise during the project.
9. Work closely with the Design and Manufacturing teams to ensure the projects are delivered in line with design specifications, goals, schedules, and quality standards.
10. The solution sourcing process must be aggressive in terms of project schedules or technical challenges.
11. Maintain regular communication with the Process Application Manager regarding the development projects.
12. Support the Manufacturing team in case of issues during assembly and integration.
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in test and automation design or test and process engineering.
- Strong Interested in technical development and support.
- A team player who is responsible and committed to working in both collaborative environments and independently in a scheduled Project-driven environment.
- Experience in technical support will be an added advantage.
