**Main Responsibilities**
- Serve as the primary sustainability expert for private equity real assets, managing ESG initiatives and ensuring effective integration into investment strategies.
- Design and implement tailored sustainability strategies and decarbonization pathways for private fund asset portfolios, aligning with overarching sustainability objectives.
- Support fundraising efforts by emphasizing the organization’s ESG strengths, responding to investor queries, and completing due diligence tasks, including participation in surveys like GRESB and UNPRI.
- Conduct environmental data analysis at the portfolio level, assess the social and environmental impacts of investments, and guide alignment with sustainability goals.
- Act as a senior ESG ambassador at industry events, panels, and workshops, positioning the organization as a thought leader in sustainability.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or a related technical field.
- At least 15 years of experience, with a focus on sustainability roles in areas like private equity, fund management, corporate leadership, or consulting. Real estate-related experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in global sustainability standards, carbon accounting frameworks, ESG benchmarking tools, and relevant regulations in key operational markets.
- Strong strategic and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align diverse teams around common sustainability goals.
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to travel internationally when required.
