DESIGNATION : R&D Mechanical Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designs portions of engineering solutions for mechanical hardware, electronics enclosures, and production tooling based on established engineering fundamentals and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines
- Develops and implements test plans for existing designs, including validation of tolerances, forM/Fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, developing fan curves, system power measurements & acoustics
- Applies functional specifications and uses engineering tools to design hardware for product changes and new development
- Assists in preparing component specifications, follows work processes to document designs, and prepares materials for design reviews
- Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners on mechanical design and development
- Integrates mechanical design requirements with material parameters and process requirements.
- Own components of an overall product through the development process including idea conception through prototyping and into production based on product development processes
- Identifies technical problems, provides innovative, creative solutions; shares technical knowledge with team

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science/Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience
- Skilled in engineering statistics, scripting through common languages like Visual C++, Python or/and data science will be advantageous
- Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Teamwork and ability to collaborate and communicate ideas is critical
