Mechanical R&D Engineer

A home-grown company with an established market for its electrical and electronic home appliances intends to aggressively grow its business internationally. Its smart and innovative products are not only user-centric in functionality but are also designed for sustainable living. The company is strengthening and deepening their inhouse capability through the expansion of its team of research, design and development (RD&D) engineers.

The company is looking for a self-motivated and creative R&D mechanical engineer who are experienced in thermo management involving refrigerant.

Role & Responsibility
- Involve in the Concept and Mechanical parts development of projects.
- Invent or Innovating products and parts base on direction and guidance provided.
- Calculation of the necessary mechanical gateways involved.
- Sourcing of available parts to materialize concept to samples.
- 3D Modelling and drawing of parts and product involved.
- Hands on handling throughout the process of development & innovations.
- Timely reporting of the progress

Requirement
- A degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- At least 3 years of industry experience with good fundamentals in mechanical engineering.
- Experience in design, managing and manufacturing of thermo management systems involving refrigerant.
- Proficient with 3D modelling or visualisation software such as Solid Works, ProE, Inventor, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or equivalent
- Familiar with prototype test bedding of mechanical and electrical parts prior to manufacturing to ensure product functionality, limitations and durability
- Up to date with development of new technologies and materials for cooling systems
- Familiar with local regulatory requirements related to products
- Must be able to undertake pressure and meet deadlines.
- Pro-active, Responsible, Independent yet a team player attitudes.
- Experience with Air product experience is a big plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,600.00 - $4,500.00 per month
