**The Plattering Co. Pte Ltd**, known for its beautiful grazing tables and creative catering buffet setup displays, sharing platters, bowls and bentos and unique catering setups. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy **AI Engineer**to join our catering services company. This role will play a critical part in maintaining and innovating our hardware and software infrastructure, with a strong focus on automation using **n8n**, as well as deploying AI-driven solutions to optimize operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Automation & Workflow Management**:

- Design, build, and maintain workflows using n8n, Node‑RED, Huginn and etc to automate internal business processes (e.g. order processing, inventory updates, customer notifications).
- Integrate APIs and third-party services via n8n to enhance operational efficiency.

**Software Development & Integration**:

- Develop or customize internal software tools to support operations and business intelligence.
- Implement and manage integrations between catering management systems and third-party platforms (e.g., CRM, delivery apps).

**AI Implementation**:

- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for AI to streamline tasks such as demand forecasting, menu optimization, and customer personalization.
- Deploy and monitor AI tools and services to support data-driven decision-making.

**Support & Training**:

- Provide tech support to staff across departments.
- Train team members on newly implemented tools and automation solutions

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in **Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering**/ **Data Science/Data Analytics**or a related field.
- Minimum **1 -2 years of IT experience**, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or logistics environments.
- Proven experience with **n8n**and building scalable, maintainable automation workflows.
- Strong understanding of **IT systems**, including hardware troubleshooting and software development.
- Familiarity with **AI tools**or platforms such as OpenAI, TensorFlow, or other machine learning frameworks.
- Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and integration protocols.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or catering tech is a plus.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and dashboards.
- Understanding of GDPR and data security best practice
