We are looking for an enthusiastic and results driven individual, as our “Mechatronics Engineer”. This is a

crucial role for enabling and implementing the technical product & equipment development cycle of

REVIVO BioSystems’ unique testing platform. She/he is responsible for further developing REVIVO

BioSystems’ hardware and firmware technology, and for creating and developing new features for our

products.

The ideal person in this role has the technical expertise to take care of the electronic, electrical, firmware

and mechanical design and development for REVIVO BioSystems’ platform. She/he will work closely with

the company’s R&D and Service team to fine-tune and implement design modifications and upgrade the

The Mechatronics Engineer plays a leading practical role in building the supply chain for REVIVO

BioSystems’ products and in maintaining an appropriate inventory of critical components. Importantly,

she/he will be a key enabler for the scale up of our products by collaborating with technical and

manufacturing specialists and contractors in view of the product launches.

As such, the Mechatronics Engineer must have a clear and large overview of available electronic, electrical

and mechanical components and stay up to date with new parts suitable for our products, and should put

forward new ideas for improvement of REVIVO’s testing platform. The person in this role is an important

figure in the organization to accelerate the commercialization and launch of our products.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor's degree in electric, electronic or mechatronics engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a system or product developer or in a related field
- Hands on experience with design and development of electric and electronic systems
- Proven track records of firmware development and coding
- Proficiency with Arduino, C++, EAGLE, STM32
- Detail and result oriented and flexible to the needs of dynamic laboratory environments
- Analytical thinker who can manage priorities, problem-solve and manage multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work well within a team

**VALUABLE ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES**
- Well-versed with mechanical engineering skills and industrial design
- Hands on experience with design and development of mechanical systems
- Proficiency with CAD programmes, e.g. Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.
- Engineering and design knowledge, and solid knowledge of the prototype design process
- Be comfortable & proficient using prototyping equipment
- Creative and innovative thinking skills.
