The Product Development Manager is a People Manager function. This role is an expert in the product development process and can lead a team of developers and coordinators to reach and exceed their potential. To be successful in the role requires agility, creativity, strong leadership skills, and genuine interest in the alternative lifestyle.

**What you will do**:

- Lead the product creation process from initial concept to commercialization and production for assigned models by ensuring on time delivery and development according to critical dates, product specification, sustainability, and profitability goals.
- Take the lead in sourcing for new suppliers and manufacturers to work with for each category
- Identify and address key issues and challenges in production and plan accordingly to deliver high quality products.
- Partner with the Product Design Team to offer options and solutions in order to meet design intent and margin targets
- Devise and monitor the team’s key performance indicators, manage individual performance through feedback and coaching.
- Lead industry benchmarking studies for the brand when seeking improvements for A&E products
- Champion the implementation of new processes by removing roadblocks and providing the appropriate level of support to maximize opportunities
- Regularly conduct industry benchmarking studies and competitor analysis

**Job Requirements**
- At least 8 years of experience as a Product Development Manager in the retail, fashion, or jewelry industries
- Proven ability to lead and develop direct reports and associates
- Has great networking and negotiation skills
- Decisive decision-making and problem solving
- Demonstrated ability in communicating creative solutions with confidence, ease, and clarity to internal teams and stakeholders
