**About Our Client**:
Our client, a leading fashion retailer headquartered in France, boasts a global network of more than 2600 stores. As the investment holding entity for the region, the company oversees wholesale distribution to retail outlets representing a diverse range of brands.
- Liaise with offshore accountant / finance manager to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing activities (GL, BS, PL review and to provide guidance where needed)
- Ensure sound cash flow management
- Ensure the adequacy of internal and operating controls
- Ensure compliance with internal control, accounting standards and other regulatory requirements
- Ensure tax and audit compliance
- Advise and support Finance Manager on financial issues
- Liaise and support the requirements of External Auditors, including preparation of Financial statements
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assign by Finance Manager
- Ensure completeness of e-filing of documentation
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of consolidated Business units and management reports to Finance Manager
- Financial and operation performance analysis - Actual vs Budgeted
- Liaison with corporate secretary on secretarial matters for group of companies

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Min Degree in Finance or Accountancy
- At least five years' accounting(GL in particular) and financial experience, among which with the experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Open to travel to regional entities across APAC - twice yearly
- Good problem-solving skills, able to multi-task with independence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Exhibits sound judgment, maturity and credibility
- Strong self-initiatives, a team player
- Knowledge of SAP will be beneficial
