To partner with business units stakeholders to identify & implement BI initiatives. To support Executives formulate & drive Operational Strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strategy and Planning
- Manage strategic imperative outcome
- Review business effectiveness across all functional areas for improvement opportunities
- Policy, Process and Procedures
- Compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes and company policies and procedures
- Initiate, facilitate and capitalise on best practices & innovations, such as new technologies and BI management practices
- Environmental Awareness/Customer Focus
- Lead and facilitate meetings and workshops as part of project management support
- Lead team members to derive trends, conclusions and recommendations based on data and analysis
- Up-Skill / Train Business Sponsors and Business resources in Process Excellence (PE) Principles
- Technical Performance
- Lead the development of operational & organisational design & manage implementation
- Solve business problems, understand the root cause(s) and drive improvements via qualitative & quantitative data
- Conduct primary and secondary research on markets, competitors and customers
- People Management
- Actively coach and mentor BI Managers and Business Analysts to ensure optimum performance
- Liaise with BI colleagues across the globe
Preferred Competencies/Skills
- Ability to define and break down complex problems to understand the root cause(s).
- Excellent communicator, with strong facilitation, good negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to Train/Coach staff on PE
- Moderate project management and financial modeling skills
Preferred Education
- Master's Degree
Preferred Education Specifics
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
Preferred Experience
- 8 or more years of experience in a commercial BI role
- Exposure to business process re-engineering, commercial analysis, development & monitoring of SLAs and developing & executing business transformation
Preferred Licenses/Certifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
- Ideally, posses Lean Six Sigma - Master Black Belt
Preferred Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of business transformation principles and improvement methodologies
- Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Knowledge of Balance Scorecard
