Technical Development Manager

Responsibilities:
- To manage a team of Technical Development Engineers in new development of the DC Chargers as well as the Controller cards
- To guide and advise the Development Engineer in the development and design the DC Charger/AC & DC Distribution Board base on customers requirement using Chloride Proprietary Cards
- To work with production team in fabricating the DC Chargers and provide technical support/manual/test sheet for quality check
- Comfortable in working with Customers to provide help in their design specification when require
- To work with contractor on new development of Chloride product on product improvement or market expansion
- Liaise with component/cabinet suppliers and provide costing for the DC system to the sales team.
- To manage the technical support for new DC Chargers design locally and overseas.
- Attend meeting or participate in customers/distributors together with Sales Manager on upgrade/technical clarification/site demo etc.
- To manage the cost saving development and design of the DC Chargers without the compromise of product quality and reliability.
- To manage the draftsman and advise on the work on circuitry design, component specification and setting parameters for client approval.
- Assist Sales Manager in Tender participation by providing technical support on DC system.
Requirement:
- Min. Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Strong power electronic background will be an advantage
- Disciplined, Aggressive, Strong Presentation, Communication & Negotiation Skills
- Preferably having at least 5 years experiences in electronic design
- Class 3 license required
- Good inter-personal skill to work with colleagues, designing and production staff.
- Ability to start work within short notice preferred
- Able to travel to Asia Pacific countries for Technical Support/meeting/demo etc.
