Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design and architect complex OT solutions for smart city and integrated command center projects
- Develop detailed technical proposals and project scopes, emphasizing OT integration
- Analyze and optimize interconnections between various OT systems (e.g., industrial control systems, building management systems, traffic control systems)
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations specific to OT
- Conduct technical workshops and presentations for clients, focusing on OT solutions
- Collaborate with sales teams to enhance bid competitiveness in OT-heavy projects
- Evaluate and recommend new OT technologies for integration
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate communication between OT and IT teams

Secondary Responsibilities (Project Delivery and Product Development Support):

- Provide technical guidance and oversight during the implementation phase of projects
- Assist in troubleshooting complex integration issues during project rollout
- Conduct regular project health checks to ensure alignment with architectural vision
- Support the creation and review of technical documentation for handover
- Mentor junior team members on OT integration best practices
- Participate in post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future designs

Additional Responsibilities in the Built Environment Context:
Product Development and Planning
- Lead the creation of product artifacts for software solutions related to building information modeling, project management platforms, and smart building systems
- Develop and maintain documentation for various technology projects in the built environment sector
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new features addressing challenges in urban development and construction

Technical Understanding
- Design software and hardware architectures specific to the built environment, including IoT systems for smart buildings
- Develop strategies for implementing data products, analytics, and applied AI in the context of construction management and urban planning

Research and Analysis
- Conduct in-depth technical analysis of emerging technologies in the built environment sector
- Lead the analysis of data from construction projects or smart building systems to derive insights for product improvements
- Identify industry trends and potential partnership opportunities within the built environment ecosystem from a technical perspective

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in OT systems design and integration, preferably in smart city or built environment projects
- Strong knowledge of OT protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, DNP3) and industrial control systems
- Experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, and other industrial automation technologies
- Familiarity with IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity in OT environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Project management experience in large-scale OT integration projects
