Infrastructure Monitoring Support Engineer

**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that assigned infrastructure at client site is configured, installed, tested and operational.
- Perform daily monitoring operation and support.
- Assist in analysing, assigning and escalating support calls.
- Provide onsite technical support to clients and provide field engineering services to clients.
- Provide continuous feedback to clients and affected parties, updating all system and/or portals as prescribed by client.
- Conduct monthly random review of incidents and service requests to analyse and recommend improvements in quality.
- Perform Security Incident response for malicious activity detected.
- Continuously log and track remediation activities of discovered vulnerabilities throughout the environment.
- Evaluate vulnerabilities based on prioritization criteria
**Requirements**:
- Diploma / degree in IT/Computing.
- Knowledge in Solarwinds / Dynatrace / Splunk monitoring and servers
- Good experience required in Engineering function within a medium to large ICT organization with exposure in managed infrastructure cloud services.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Knowledge on how to monitor parameters, manage monitoring activities.
- Perform daily monitoring operation and support in the capacity of an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer or similar.
