We are looking for a highly motivated Chef de Partie with a great emphasis on a teamwork to work in a fast paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
Major goal - To ensure that the food served is flavourful, popular and profitable, from your allocated section within the kitchen.
- In daily operations, set up and manage all kitchen stations.
- To ensure mínimal kitchen waste.
- To communicate with the Sous Chef/Head Chef and implement new menus/dishes/systems as needed. To ensure that mis en place is completed properly.
- Check the freshness of the ingredients.
- Before the meal period, double-check and prepare a sufficient mise-en-place.
- Cook food according to standard recipes.
- Plate food in accordance with standard presentation style.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and food waste tracking.
- In order to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices, inspect and clean the kitchen, kitchen equipment, and serving areas.
- Assist junior cooks with their daily tasks.

Skills / Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Qualification from a culinary school.
- Food hygiene certificates
- Past experience working in a similar role.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation.
- Positive working attitude
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
**Salary**: From $2,800.00 per month
