Membrane Engineer, Separation Technologies Applied

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the operation of wet chemistry laboratory e.g., chemical mixing, polymer dope preparation, analytical testing of gas separation membranes and laboratory upkeep.- Work with a team of engineers and chemists to streamline membrane scale-up process.- Support and execute preventive maintenance procedures for assigned equipment, in accordance with equipment requirements as recommended by vendors / suppliers.- Support procurement of parts and/or securing of services for preventive or breakdown maintenance works where applicable.- Assist sampling and analysis of the gas samples from internal and external pilot testing, data collection and preparation of documents e.g., SOP and HSE protocols.- Uphold strict compliance with Environment, Safety and Health regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Relevant experience in polymer chemistry and/or gas separation membranes technology is an advantage.- Trained in or familiar with health, safety and environment (HSE) practices/protocols, e.g. safety risk assessment, LOTO etc.- Trained in or familiar with organic chemical preparations.- Experience with analytical instruments such as but not limited to GC, HPLC, TOC, UV-Vis, FESEM, Optical Microscopy.- Good communication, oral and written skills.- Self-initiative, highly motivated, self-starter with ability to perform duties independently, with mínimal supervision.- Ability to liaise with contractors and vendors for maintenance work.
