A Research Associate position is available in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

**Job Description**:
- Conduct membrane related projects for desalination, water reuse, resource recovery, including experimental setup design and construction, experiment design and testing, process modelling, data processing and reporting- Mentor junior master students, undergraduate students for their research projects- Publish research data, paper publication, prepare project progress report, assist in research proposal preparation

Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree from a reputable university in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, chemistry, etc.- Good journal paper publication record- Good report writing skill- Excellent oral presentation skill, multitasking skill- Relevant research experience on membrane technology and separation technologies- Relevant research experience in the fabrication/synthesis of RO/NF/FO/PRO/ion exchange membranes/organic solvent membranes and/or TFC membrane fabrication and/or organic chemical synthesis, and membrane/separation process development will be preferred- Self-motivated and able to work on your own and in a team- Good interpersonal skills- Good communication and writing in English- Strong responsibility for research
