DIRECTOR OF CHINESE SPEECH and DRAMA program

Musedu is created to be a new era of music and art learning lab. It is driven by our founder Vivian Lee and rapidly embarking on boundless music learning. From O2O (offline to online) to continue to serve the different needs of our students between our learning centers and home-based learning.

Bringing a whole new way of learning experience. Our teachers are retrained and ready to teach from the classroom to online.

Our main target students are as young as 3 years old to 12 years old. Our students come from all walks of life from Singapore, China, Asia, Europe, and the USA.

We also provide instrumental music courses for all ages, as well as professional music teaching and music performance diplomas.

Job Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct Chinese Speech and Drama lessons for 3-12 years old children
- Preparation of props, materials and lessons plan for the classes
- In charge of curriculum planning and development, including the MOE Chinese syllabus enrichment program
- Build and manage a sales & marketing team to recruit target students and provide good parents liaison
- Monitor and document student’s progress and performance
- Engage and inform Parents of their children’s progress in class
- Lead the strategic and operational development of the school
- Complete at least 2 compulsory trainings per term
- Update parents’ community by updating the Class Dojo Application after every lesson
- Lessons will take place at either partners’ school centres or at centres under the company. Travelling between centres is required.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Requirements
- Bachelor or hgher Education qualification, certificate in Chinese Speech and Drama or equivalent
- At least three years of relevant teaching experience with children aged 3 to 12 years old
- Experience and previous training in music and movement, speech and drama is preferred
- We are looking for someone with strong passion for arts and drama who love to work with pre-school children
- Proficiency in Mandarin language is essential for Chinese Speech and Drama. Good communication and classroom management skills.
